In this chapter, you control Connor. The events unfold in a park area near the bridge, where you will have an important conversation with Hank.
Start of chapter and item collection
Once the chapter starts, the first thing you should do is leave Hank’s car. Critical moment: before heading to your partner, check out the surroundings. There is a magazine, a collectible item, on a bench on the right side of the location, next to the playground.
⚠️ Warning: As soon as you approach Hank, a cutscene will start, after which it will be impossible to return for the magazine. The only way to get the item is to restart the chapter. Therefore, first take the magazine, then go to Hank.
Dialogue with Hank: the correct sequence of choices
After approaching Hank, a video will start playing. When you have the opportunity to ask a question, follow these steps:
First choice: Personal Question
Observe the development of the dialogue between the characters.
Second choice: Go Back Another exchange between
Connor and Hank will follow, after which a lengthy cutscene will begin.
Key points of the conflict
When control returns to you:
- Select the “Deviants” option — this will provoke a reaction from Hank, who will get up and approach Connor with a question.
- Respond neutrally — the neutral option is the most appropriate at this stage.
- After Hank pushes Connor, you will need to make another choice — select “Truth.“
Final scene with weapons
The situation will escalate when Hank points his gun at Connor. Here’s what you need to do:
- Answer “YES” to the first question.
- For the subsequent selection, indicate “NOTHING.”
After these actions, the final scene will play out, and the chapter will come to an end.
