The Untouchable mission in Hitman 3 presents a unique linear challenge aboard a moving train. Your objective is straightforward but demanding: eliminate Arthur Edwards while navigating through multiple train cars filled with hostile personnel.
Mission Objective
Your sole target is Arthur Edwards. This mission differs from typical Hitman levels as it follows a linear path from the train’s rear to the front section.
Starting Point: Medical Bay Escape
The mission opens with a cutscene, after which you’ll find yourself confined to the medical bay. Your first task involves escaping this secured area.
Exit the medical room and subdue the medical attendant. Take his clothing and grab the keycard from the nearby table—this card is essential for leaving the area. Without it, you’ll remain trapped in the medical section.
Continue forward until you reach a locked room with a code panel. The access code is displayed on a poster to the left of the door: 1979. Once inside, collect the crowbar and use it to pry open the door leading to the next car.
Navigating the Initial Cars
Step outside the car and move along the ledge to your right. Look for the area marked with a logo where you can climb onto the roof. A single soldier patrols this section—he’s your only opportunity to acquire a military uniform in this area. Neutralize him quietly and change into his outfit.

The Yellow Valve Car
The next car contains a crucial item: a yellow valve. You’ll find it behind some crates in the far right corner. Insert this valve into the mechanism at the car’s center to open the roof hatch and continue your journey.
Bypassing the Locked Door
You’ll soon encounter a secured door. Two methods will get you past this obstacle:
- Throw an object at the door to attract a guard’s attention, then wait for him to open it
- Slip through the window on either side of the door
Inside, a single guard patrols the corridor and can identify you. Hide in the compartment on the left side, wait for him to pass, then move forward undetected.
Section A and Weapon Upgrades
One car features a weapon workbench where you can craft an improvised suppressor. A locked door marked “Section A” is also present here.
To access Section A, proceed to the adjacent car containing three soldiers. Wait until the helmeted soldier moves away from the window, then exit through it and climb to the roof. Move back slightly and drop through an open window below.
Inside Section A, you’ll find a submachine gun and a suppressed shotgun—valuable assets for what lies ahead.
The Billiards Room Car
This car contains several enemies who can recognize you. Locate the key cabinet—one key opens the electrical panel room (alternatively, use a rusty nail to pick the lock if you have one). Cut the power to move through undetected or eliminate enemies in darkness. You can also exit through a window and traverse the car’s exterior.
The Bar Car and Beyond
The bar car’s main door is locked, so use a side window to enter. Stay low behind the bar counter to avoid detection. In the next compartment, climb through a window into a cabin with a sleeping soldier. If you haven’t already, grab the rusty nail here—you’ll need it soon.
The Open Car and Container
Pass through the room with two soldiers—both can identify you, so neutralization is recommended. Beyond this car sits a locked container.
Proceed to the next car with a secured door. Use the rusty nail to pick it open and retrieve another yellow valve. Return to the container and use the valve to open it. Inside, you’ll find firearms, ammunition, and grenades.
Dealing with the Military Group
The grenades (or a safety pin from the container) become crucial for handling a large group of soldiers in the next passage. Insert the safety pin into the designated box to temporarily stun all enemies, then sprint to the car’s end. Hide in the crate on the left and wait for the search to conclude.
Additional enemies, including a unit commander, may investigate the disturbance. Subdue the commander and take his uniform—this disguise grants you unrestricted passage through the remaining soldiers.

Final Cars Approach
The concluding office cars pose no threat when wearing the commander’s uniform. Before entering the final car, change into an office suit and discard any weapons (shotgun or submachine gun).
Walk through the armored transport, use the special lever to detach the cars, and proceed to Arthur Edwards.

Mission Conclusion
Upon confronting Arthur, you have several elimination options:
- Shoot him with a firearm
- Strangle him with the fiber wire (located in the wardrobe)
- Strike him with the fire extinguisher
- Use the syringe from the table to inject him, causing memory loss similar to what Agent 47 experienced
Select your preferred method to complete the mission and trigger the ending sequence.
Strategic Note: This mission follows a strict linear progression with no optional objectives. Focus on stealth tactics and proper disguise management to reach your target efficiently.
