This finale section of It Takes Two is built to be a clean sprint to the finish: keep moving, avoid hazards, then run a short DJ sequence to hype the crowd and close out the level. In some guides this part is labeled Turn Up, and in others it appears as All to the Dance Floor.
What matters here
There are no big puzzles to solve. Your job is execution: forward momentum, clean jumps, and quick reactions to on screen prompts once you reach the DJ booth.
If you’re unsure where to go, keep pushing forward and follow the most “stage like” pathing. This section is linear by design.
Getting into the club
Head toward the club entrance and interact with the bouncer when you reach the door. After that, the level becomes mostly timing based platforming and obstacle avoidance.
Keep your rhythm simple:
- Let one player lead the jumps while the other mirrors a half step behind
- Call out hazards early instead of reacting late
- Prioritize safe landings over “saving time” with risky shortcuts
Staying on the moving disco ball
One standout danger moment is the moving disco ball ride. You’ll need to stay on it as it rolls along rails while avoiding damaging gaps. Jumping cleanly over hazards is the safer play than trying to get fancy with evasive moves that can push you off.

Make it consistent:
- Stay centered on the ball whenever possible
- Jump the glowing pits instead of drifting around them
- Don’t both take the same risk at once
- Treat “both players down” as the fail condition for this sequence
Running the DJ booth
When you reach the nightclub DJ area, you’ll be asked to work multiple stations. The game gives clear prompts for each interaction, so you don’t need to guess what to do. Divide tasks, follow the prompts, and keep the energy going until the crowd meters fill.

A reliable co op approach:
- Each player claims a station and sticks with it until prompted to switch
- If one of you is struggling with a timing prompt, swap stations immediately
- When the game pulls you into a rhythm style prompt, focus on accuracy over speed
Once you’ve fully warmed up the audience, the level ends and the final sequence continues into the closing scenes.
Finish
After the DJ segment, watch the final cutscene to close out the chapter and wrap the game’s ending sequence.
