This segment is a co-op coordination check: one player anchors to magnetic targets while the other stays connected so the wind can’t separate you.

Know your magnet roles (quick rule)
- May has the blue magnet. Cody has the red magnet.
- Opposites interact: Cody (red) pulls to blue targets; May (blue) pulls to red targets.
1) Start the section and reach the ice crack
- Back in the factory area, pull the lever to trigger the downhill slide.
- Slide down until you reach the crack in the ice.
- Use the magnet to shift the nearby ice chunk so Cody can climb up.
- Cody breaks the ice from the higher ledge to open the route for May.

2) Unlock the “pull-to-partner” move
After the cutscene with the book, you gain a stronger ability: you can pull directly to your partner (treat your teammate like a magnet target).

Use this whenever you need to cross gaps or “meet in the middle.”
3) Cross the windy slope with magnetic signs
You’ll see red and blue magnetic signs on the slope.
- Anchor player: attaches to the correct opposite-colored sign (May → red sign, Cody → blue sign).
- Tether player: pulls to the anchored partner to avoid being blown away.

A reliable rhythm:
- Anchor attaches to the next sign and holds.
- Tether pulls to the anchor (stay connected through the gust).
- During the safe window, advance together to the next sign and repeat.
If you’re getting swept, it usually means both players detached at once—keep one anchor active before the other moves.
4) Wooden shelters and the chapter finish
- Reach the wooden shelters.
- Cody helps May cross, then Cody returns to face her.
- Stand at the two opposite ends, face each other, and activate the pull at the same time to snap together and end the section.
