Quick goals
- Grab optional minigames and interactables in the attic hub before you commit to the section.
- Open the gate and use the flute setup to get Cody across.
- Push through the accordion waves with Cody shielding and May tucked in behind.
- Collect floating musical notes to open the locked domes and start the rescue trials.
Before you enter the section
If you care about completion, look for the Chess minigame near the entrance leading into Symphony in the attic hub area. It becomes available after you return to the hub from the earlier sequence, and it sits on the ground floor by that entrance.
If you only want progress, skip the detours and go straight to the gate.
Getting Cody across with the flute
After you open the gate, move through the room of oversized instruments until you reach the flute or recorder area near the piano. Use May’s voice interaction on the instrument to trigger the assist that lets Cody cross to the far side.

Keep both players close so you don’t lose track of the interaction point or the route forward.
Crossing the accordion safely
The accordion fires lethal wave bursts on a rhythm. Cody should walk forward with his cymbal shield up while May stays directly behind him the entire time. Use the moments between attacks to gain ground, then reset your position and keep moving.

Clearing the timed platform stretch
After the accordion, you’ll hit a short coordination test using brass instruments that raise platforms temporarily. May triggers the platforms with her voice, Cody makes the jumps, and the timing matters because the platforms drop back down. Once Cody reaches the far side, he can pull a lever that keeps the path available so May can cross.

Opening the doors and starting the rescue
A cutscene leads you into a bright cloudlike area where the orchestra is locked inside domes on opposite sides. To open a dome door, sweep the area and collect all the floating musical notes. You also gain flight here, so use it to clean up any notes you missed.

What the two trials look like
Each dome leads to its own contained challenge focused on securing keys and unlocking the musicians. One side centers on grabbing keys from flying enemies and using them on padlocks. The other side uses clouds and rain to clear obstructing fog and flush out key carriers.
