Bold RGB-inspired accessories set to launch in March with three striking colorways

Sony Interactive Entertainment has introduced a vibrant new lineup of accessories for the PlayStation 5, dubbed “The Hyperpop Collection.” The announcement marks one of the company’s most visually striking accessory releases to date.

What’s Included in the Collection

The Hyperpop Collection features three distinct color options:

• Techno Red
• Remix Green
• Rhythm Blue

According to Leo Cardoso from PlayStation’s color, material, and finish design team, the collection draws inspiration from RGB gaming setup lighting. “We’re cranking the volume all the way up with a collection that doesn’t just stand out, it takes over the room,” Cardoso explained in the official announcement.

Pricing and Availability Details

Pre-orders open on January 16, 2026, with the full release scheduled for March 12, 2026. The accessories will be available through PlayStation Direct and participating retailers in supported regions.

Important Compatibility Note

The Hyperpop console covers are designed exclusively for the PlayStation 5 “slim” model. They are not compatible with the original launch edition PS5 or the PlayStation 5 Pro console. The covers will be available for a limited time in select markets only.
