As you progress through Reanimal’s dark storyline, it’s easy to overlook the small details. But if you’re aiming for 100% completion and are a trophy hunter, you’ll need to carefully explore the locations in search of hidden interactive objects. One such hidden collectible is the rest areas.

In this game, the concept of a “place to sit” is interpreted in a very unconventional way. In addition to the usual chairs and armchairs, you’ll have to rest on toilets, folding stools, and even small cages.

Important rule: The game is full of objects that resemble seats (train benches, rock ledges, etc.), but the achievement only counts if an interaction button appears and you clearly see the animation of the orphan boy sitting down on the object.

Below is a step-by-step guide to all 10 rest areas, which will allow you to unlock the “Take a Load Off” achievement by Chapter 5.


Chapter 1: Dead in the Water

1. Factory Office At the beginning of the factory, after your first encounter with the child locked behind bars, climb the stairs on the right and solve the cooperative puzzle. Open the door on the left and step out onto the platform with a staircase leading to the pipes. The spot you’re looking for is the chair standing against the wall right behind the computer desk.

2. Outside the Factory Before you start chasing the Sniffer monster in the freight car area, find a gap in the brick wall next to the tracks. Go through it and sit down on the folding chair next to the scarecrow.

3. The Locked Door in the Cargo Yard During the chase, you’ll retrieve a key from the body that fell out of the toilet. Don’t rush to use it to open the door leading out of the room! Instead, climb through the crack in the wall to get into the yard with the handcart. Use the key on the door on the opposite wall. Go inside, make the first jump, and in the corner of the passage near the shelves, you’ll see a chair.

4. The Playground As you run through the playground in the forest town, you’ll notice lots of scattered toys, couches, and benches. The rest stop you’re looking for is a small couch standing right next to one of the discarded couches.

5. The Room Where Your Friend Is Kept While trying to rescue your friend in the laundry room, go to the farthest corridor (the one where Sniffer just poked his head out). Right next to the locked door is a chair you can sit on.

6. The Cinema When you pass through the cinema area for the second time, take note of the open door to the restroom. Inside, you’ll find another available toilet that you can interact with.

Chapter 3: After the Flood

7. The Bus Stop At the very end of the chapter, while listening to the orphan girl’s story, you’ll find yourself at a bus stop. Be sure to sit there for a moment before boarding the bus that will take you to Chapter 4.

Chapter 4: No Shelter

8. The Pig Pit After climbing the clock tower and dealing with the petrified children near the king, you’ll need to find a key. Your search will lead you to a gruesome pig slaughterhouse. Jump over the gap in the planks to the opposite beams and jump down into the lit room. A sofa will be right in front of you.

Chapter 5: Down in a Hole

9. After the Chase In this chapter, you’ll face a long escape from a terrifying, hairy, many-legged monster. Eventually, you’ll make your way to a ruined upper floor overlooking the forest. The game will automatically seat you and the orphan girl on a bench, but this doesn’t count toward the achievement! The real resting spot is the chair standing by the wooden support beam, just a few steps away from you.

10. On the Upper Balcony Climb the stairs (which are frequently blocked by falling cabinets) to reach the wooden balcony outside. Right in front of where you need to jump, there is a wooden chair. Sit on it—this is the tenth and final spot on our list.

Immediately after interacting with this chair, a notification should appear on your screen indicating that you have unlocked the “Unload” achievement!
