The fifth chapter of the game takes Senua to a coastline littered with shipwrecks. Without her sword, the heroine is unable to fight, so her main task here is to explore the area and search for the Stones of Knowledge.
Awakening and first steps

After a long cut scene, Senua hears a voice—perhaps a vision of Dillion, her deceased lover. Wounded and unarmed, she must move toward the flickering blue light ahead.

Around the bend, the glow takes on the shape of a male figure with a weapon in his hands. However, as you approach, the vision dissipates. When you reach the spot where it disappeared, you discover that after falling from the Bridge in Hel, you ended up on the right side of the crossing.
The Path to the Great Tree

Descend the slope to the shore among the shipwrecks and continue forward, ignoring the voices. Soon you will see an ascent—at its top, the silhouette will reappear.

Secret before the climb: Don’t rush to the top. Walk past the slope to the rocks — there is a small cave hidden there with the image of Mother Senua, whom you can talk to.
When you climb up, you will see that the ghost has disappeared again, but a huge tree is visible in the distance. When you climb down, you will understand: Dillon’s spirit is waiting for you under its crown.

Runic gates and the path through ships
On the rocky cliffs to the right, you can see a path leading to the massive Rune Gate. Below are scaffolding and shipwrecks. You can climb up the paths or use the ladder under the wooden supports.
The distinctive feature of these gates is that instead of runes, they depict the great tree—the very one where Dillion’s spirit awaits. Remember this symbol.
Return to the shoreline and proceed along the water past the shipwrecks. The path will lead through the hollow hulls of overturned ships.
The Tree and the Sword Gramr

As you approach the giant tree, the flash will transport Senua to happy memories — continue walking toward the trunk until the vision ends.
What to explore at the tree:
- Metal rune stones — placed at the corners around the trunk near the shoreline
- Stones of knowledge — located among the rune stones (see table above)
A blue glow flickers in the tree trunk surrounded by skulls. The source of the light is Gramr, a sword stuck in the wood. Senua is unable to pull the blade out—it must be reforged.
How to reforge Gramr

To obtain the sword, you must pass Odin’s Trials. Four glowing metal rune stones around the tree grant access to these trials. Activate them and overcome the trials that await you.
