Obtaining the Guardians’ Sticks
Go to Hogsmeade, to Ollivander’s shop. Talk to Gerbold and ask him to make the Guardians’ Wand. After a short cutscene showing the wand being made, leave the shop.
Victor Rukwood will meet you on the street. He will offer to join forces against the goblins, but you will decline his offer. One of Rukwood’s henchmen will grab you and teleport you to an unknown location.
Battle with Victor Ruckwood
Phase One: Waves of Enemies
You will find yourself in an arena where you will be attacked by Ashcreepers and Poachers. Follow these tactics:
- Keep moving around the arena
- Actively use the combination of Protego and Ostolbenei
- Eliminate enemies one by one
After destroying all enemies, Rukwood will appear and a magical duel with wands will begin. Quickly press the button indicated on the screen so that your magic beam overpowers him.
Phase Two: The Battle with Rukwood
Rukwood teleports away, and a new wave of Ashburners and Poachers appears. This time, Rukwood himself also joins the battle.
How to break through Rukwood’s shield:

| Magic Throws | Pick up and throw surrounding objects using ancient magic |
| Protego/Ostolbeney combo | Parry attacks and counterattack |
Please note: Rukwood’s shield is not tied to a specific type of spell, so colored spells (red, yellow, purple) will not break through it.
When the shield is destroyed, deal maximum damage until it is restored. Repeat this pattern until victory.
The Final Duel
After your victory, the second magical duel with wands will begin. Quickly press the specified button again to defeat Rukwood once and for all.
Completion of the quest
Rukwood has been defeated, and the Guardians’ Wand is safe. Return to the Map Room and tell Professor Fig about your success.
