In this guide, we’ll cover the locations of five more unique items in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Among them are powerful weapons and arguably the best armor in the game—excluding exoskeletons.

Below are the exact coordinates, quest references, and ways to work around bugs.

1. Spitfire Assault Rifle

This unique rifle can only be obtained by completing a specific mission.

  • Quest: “In Search of Past Glory.”
  • Where to find it: After you explore the lab and kill the mutant, you’ll need to escape through the tunnel system. Look closely at the walls during your escape—you need to find a secret vertical ladder where the “Spitfire” is hidden.

2. SIVA I Suit

Based on its overall stats, this is the best armor in the game (not counting the unwieldy exoskeletons).

  • Location: Yantar.
  • Where to find it: Head to the Yantar production complex.
  • How to get it: You need to climb the ladder and then jump onto the large pipe that wraps around the main building. Follow the pipe until you see wooden planks leading straight to an open window. Climb inside—the suit is there.

3. Grom S15 machine gun

A great weapon that’s just lying on the ground, waiting for a stalker to pick it up. No complicated quests required.

  • Location: Cooling towers.
  • Where to find it: The weapon is located in an area not marked on the map. Look for a depression (a pit) in the ground that is tightly surrounded by fire anomalies. The assault rifle lies right in the center of this ring of fire.

4. “Sledgehammer” Shotgun / Spas 12

A personalized shotgun that belonged to a fighter nicknamed Tyrant, which will become yours after a series of grueling battles.

  • Location: Rostock.
  • How to obtain: Awarded for completing the “Masters of the Arena“ side quest chain. You must survive 5 rounds of increasing difficulty. You will obtain the shotgun from the defeated Tyrant.
  • ⚠️ Warning, critical bug: The Arena quest often crashes after the 3rd round. Be sure to manually save after every completed battle. If the script freezes, load an old save—this usually helps. Some players also find it helpful to complete a couple of additional story missions before returning to the Arena.

5. Exoskeleton

One of the most durable heavy armor options in the game, which is obtained strictly through the storyline.

  • How to get it: This is a story-based reward that you can’t miss if you follow the main questline.
  • Where to find it: The exoskeleton will be waiting for you immediately after completing the main mission “Legends of the Zone.“ It is located in the room next to the one filled with TVs.
