In S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, finding a unique arsenal is half the battle when it comes to survival. In this guide, we’ll break down how to obtain three rare weapons.

⚠️ Important warning: Two of the three weapons shown are unlockable. They are strictly tied to your choices in the main story quests. If you make the wrong choice, it will be impossible to obtain them in your current playthrough.

1. The unique weapon “Spitter”

This is the first optional weapon on our list. Whether you receive it depends on how you respond to aggression while completing the mission.

  • Related Quest: “Big Score” Mission.
  • Location: Slag Heap.
  • How to obtain: Right at the start of this mission, you’ll encounter a character named Le Bari. The first thing he’ll try to do is rob you. Don’t give in to his threats. To get the unique gun, you need to kill him on the spot. After taking him out, simply search his body and take the “Spitter.”

2. Unique Weapon: “Combatant”

The second weapon you miss out on also depends on your story choices. This time, dialogue will decide everything, not a shootout.

  • Related Quest: Main Mission “Back to the Slag Heap”.
  • How to obtain: During the quest, you will have an important conversation with the Colonel. The game will give you a choice: show him the unusual PDA or hide the find. You must show him the PDA. * Where to pick it up: As soon as the cutscene ends, look at the table in the room. The unique weapon “Combatant” will be right there, left for you as a reward for your honesty.

3. Lynx Sniper Rifle

Unlike previous versions, this sniper rifle is harder to miss, as it is awarded for completing the main story without any hidden requirements.

  • Related Quest: Main Mission “Hot on the Trail”.
  • How to obtain: There are no secret dialogues or NPCs to kill here. Simply complete this story mission successfully, and at the very end, the “Lynx” sniper rifle will be automatically awarded to you as a legitimate reward.

A note to loot hunters: This is just a small part of the unique arsenal. According to the community (including active threads on Reddit), there are at least 17 types of unique weapons hidden in the game, as well as many rare artifacts and pieces of armor. Be on the lookout while exploring the Zone!
