The Another Life mission presents multiple assassination opportunities against two targets: Janus and Nolan Cassidy. Each approach requires careful planning and execution to maintain stealth ratings.

Whittleton Creek: Another Life Maps Overview


House Call

This story mission eliminates Janus but prevents achieving the Silent Assassin rating. You’ll need a lockpick to complete it.

After overhearing the conversation, approach the nurse feeding ducks near the water. Use your phone to distract him, knock him out, and hide his body in the nearby shed. Take his disguise and head toward Janus’s estate—it’s the second property as you move north.

Pass through the security checkpoint, ring the doorbell, and follow Janus to the second floor. Gunther will ask you to step aside for a private conversation and lock himself in the room, giving you five minutes to eliminate Janus and escape.

Exit through the opposite end of the room and circle back to your target, avoiding guard sightlines. When Janus lies down, offer to begin his treatment procedures. Once he’s on the medical bed, smother him with the pillow. Climb through the window onto the roof and flee the area quickly. Change into different clothing within a couple of minutes before your cover gets blown. Don’t return to Janus’s house after this point.

Pest Control

This method eliminates Nolan Cassidy and requires a lockpick.

Listen to the construction workers’ conversation, then carefully pick the container door lock to retrieve the insecticide. Conceal it in your inventory immediately.

Move toward the yellow van where the exterminator stands. Knock him unconscious, hide his body in the grass, and take his outfit. Head to Cassidy’s backyard and add the insecticide to the fumigator equipment. Then rush into the house.

For an easier approach, change into the bodyguard uniform located in the garage, though this removes the mission indicator temporarily. Your objective is reaching the weapons room on the second floor in the southeast corner and breaking the display case without being spotted.

Exit through a window to avoid crossing paths with Cassidy and the head of security. Change back into the exterminator disguise and activate the fumigator. Calmly enter the house and snap Nolan’s neck. You don’t need to hide the body afterward.

Breadcrumb Trail

This story mission collects all necessary evidence pieces. The timing is extremely strict—delay too long and it becomes unavailable, so consider starting the mission with this objective. A lockpick is required.

Listen to the mailman’s conversation with his friend, then offer assistance while wearing the default suit. Deliver the package to Mr. Batty and ring his doorbell. Immediately run to his backyard, enter the shed through the window, and grab the lawsuit document—your first clue. Leave through the alternate gate to avoid encountering Batty on your way out.

Run to Nolan Cassidy’s house next. Change into the bodyguard uniform in the garage, approach the desk, and retrieve the audio recording. Be careful around the man in the white coat—he’ll expose you if he gets too close. Leave the premises and head to the mansion under renovation.

Climb to the second floor, locate the rope mechanism that drops the ladder, and ascend to the attic. Insert the cassette into the player and listen to the recording—this is your second clue.

Sprint to Janus’s property. Slip past the guards into the basement, where you’ll find a framed photograph on the table in the far corner. This serves as your third piece of evidence.

No Smoking

An elimination method for Janus that requires a lockpick.

After eavesdropping on the conversation, search the grass on the neighbor’s property adjacent to Janus’s yard to find a cigarette pack.

Infiltrate his mansion next. If you need a bodyguard disguise, take one from the guard patrolling the basement area on the house’s right side. Sneak into Janus’s bedroom located in the northeast corner of the second floor. Watch out for Gunther, who follows the old man closely and can compromise your disguise.

Find a wrench in the small shed and tamper with the oxygen tank. You can safely leave the property after this—when Janus discovers the cigarettes, he’ll light one up and trigger an explosion.

House for Sale

An opportunity to kill Nolan requiring a lockpick.

On the left side of the counter display, you’ll find a radio. Turn it on to attract the waiter’s attention, knock him out, and take his clothes. Rat poison is available in the garage across from you—grab it after opening the gate using the control panel on the right.

  1. Pick up a cupcake and place it on the serving tray
  2. Poison the food item
  3. Follow the real estate agent when he runs off
  4. When he leans over the trash bin, knock him unconscious
  5. Take his disguise, grab his key, and hide the body in the container

Now you can meet with Nolan. Approach him on the street and initiate conversation.

Guide Cassidy to the mansion listed for sale. When he asks for a tour, lead him directly to the basement. Open the door located under the stairs, enter, and speak with Nolan. Take the vault keycard and unlock the secret door. Don’t touch the security system control panel yet.

Wait until Cassidy sends Frank upstairs and begins hacking the panel himself before entering the vault to investigate. Activate the security system now—it will eliminate Nolan. Conceal his body in the crate behind the stairs.

Turn Up the Heat

A straightforward method to eliminate Nolan.

After overhearing the dialogue, locate the propane canister on Janus’s estate grounds, positioned left of the side stairs near the gas stove. Install it on the grill, then rush to the second floor where a waiter is alone in a room on the south side. Knock him out and change clothes.

Grab the rat poison from the garage and head to the barbecue area. Stand behind the counter and serve residents until Nolan appears. Slip rat poison into his meat before serving it to him. When he becomes ill and leaves, follow him. As he leans over the toilet, drown him. Hide the body in the closet.

Whack-a-Mole

An explosive elimination method for Janus.

Listen to the conversation, then follow the gardener to the yellow van. Knock him unconscious, hide his body in the grass, and take his outfit. Run to the cordoned-off area, carefully sneak behind the police officers, and collect the explosives.

Go to Janus’s property and speak with the man in the yellow vest. He’ll explain that all mole holes need closing. Use any objects for this task, but plant the explosives on one hole without being observed. Remember which hole contains the bomb. Report to the guard when ready. Janus will arrive shortly to inspect your work. Detonate the explosives as he leans over the trapped hole.

Silent Assassin, Suit Only

You’ll need a coin and a remote explosive device for this approach.

From your starting position, run right past the campaign tent into the grass. Crouch-walk to the small shed, activate the generator nearby, and wait for someone to exit. Climb through the window, grab the lawsuit papers (first clue) and the shovel. Return to the vegetation and dig near the second utility pole to uncover a note (second clue).

Move back toward the starting location and watch the black SUV. If you’ve been quick, Nolan will pass by soon; otherwise, wait for him. Carefully toss the bomb under the vehicle’s rear. When your target approaches, trigger the detonator. The “accident” notification confirms success. Avoid hitting his bodyguard. If the explosion only stuns Nolan, you’ll lose the Silent Assassin rating and must restart.

After successfully eliminating the first target, proceed to the second. Enter the yard through the gate right of the back entrance or via the neighbors’ property and climb through a window. Use the coin or activate the vacuum cleaner to lure the nearest guard, knock him out, and hide the body in the garage.

Janus and Gunther will pass nearby. Lure Gunther away and strangle him. Now catch the old man alone and snap his neck—this shouldn’t be difficult.

Head down to the basement and locate the photograph in the corner (third clue). Exit the mansion grounds through the garage.
