This method eliminates Dawood Rangan.

Eavesdrop on the conversation and begin tailing Gregory Arthur. When he leans over the railing, push him. First neutralize the nearby patrolling gangster. Drop his body down and hide it in the drainpipe so Gregory doesn’t spot it. A bug sometimes occurs—the actor and guard may or may not die from the fall, requiring a replay. After subduing the actor, descend and change into his outfit.

Head to the film studio. Pass through the security checkpoint and go upstairs. Inform the photographer of your arrival. After the photo session, the story mission concludes, but your work continues. Speak with Rangan, who’ll invite you upstairs for a private conversation. Follow him through another security check to the rooftop. When he stops for his monologue, move to the alcove on the left. Rangan will follow and stop at the roof’s edge. Once he turns his back, push him. Exit via the elevator shaft—security won’t let you leave otherwise.

A Matter of Discipline

This straightforward method kills Vanya Shah.

After eavesdropping, visit the tailor’s house. Turn on the radio to lure out the worker, knock him unconscious, and hide him in the container. Sneak upstairs, subdue the tailor, take his clothing, and place his body in the closet.

Report your arrival to the guard and proceed to meet Vanya. Talk with her until she turns her back. When the servant steps aside, push her.

Close Shave

This method identifies and kills the Maelstrom. You’ll need a lockpick.

Eavesdrop on the conversation, then visit the Raven hideout. Climb the stairs—without appropriate clothing, you’ll be denied entry. An alternate entrance exists left of the main door. Carefully avoid gangsters throughout. Upon reaching the underground shelter, approach the central room and pick the lock. Lure out one thug by throwing objects with the door open—otherwise they won’t hear. Collect the Maelstrom’s photograph and escape.

Your new target is the barber. Climb to the second floor and knock out both him and his wife. Hide the bodies and change clothes. Descend and open the barbershop using the key or lockpick. Hold the razor and approach the counter. Service one customer, then wait for the Maelstrom. Diana will alert you when he appears nearby. Invite him in, and once he sits in the chair, slit his throat.

Old Flame Ignites

This simple method locates and eliminates the Maelstrom.

After eavesdropping, access the guarded territory wearing gangster clothing. Clean attire can be found in a small alcove behind the main staircase. Ascend and enter the designated house. Listen to the conversation. The letter you need lies on the second floor—afterward, raise the flag on the roof. Descend and collect rat poison near the entrance, carefully poisoning the wine glass farthest from the house. Wait for the date to begin. Once the Maelstrom drinks the wine, nausea strikes and he’ll run. Follow him and push him down when he stops.

Killer Look

This opportunity eliminates Vanya Shah.

After eavesdropping, find the tailor. He’ll exit his house—follow him. When he stops for a phone call, knock him out, carry his body to the toilet, and change clothes. Remember to take his key. Return to his apartment via the back door and examine the dress order. You need azure fabric. Obtain it by purchasing for 5 coins (two in the tailor’s house, bring three more to the mission), stealing when the vendor turns away, or adding emetic poison to his coffee.

Head to the train depot and speak with the servant. The self-proclaimed queen is ready to receive you. You’ll be searched, so discard weapons beforehand. Enter the audience and show Miss Shah the fabric. Follow her to her personal carriage. Take her measurements, then strangle her. Hide the body in the container.

Vanya’s servant might remain in the carriage. If so, strangle the queen when the girl turns away, then knock her out.

Gone with the Wind

This spectacular method eliminates Dawood Rangan. You’ll need a lockpick.

Eavesdrop and run to the film studio. Find the door you can pick, but first distract the guard with a coin or object. Enter the grounds. To ease further movement, lure the security guard standing near the container, subdue him, and take his clothes. No need to hide the body. Enter the building where two guards at the entrance might expose you—exercise caution.

Knock out the crew member when he moves to the adjacent table. Hide the body in the container in the neighboring room and change clothes. Grab the soda can from the table and head upstairs to the elevator shaft. The script you need rests on a support beam beyond reach. Throw any object at it to knock the pages down. Descend to the shaft bottom and collect them.

Climb to the second floor, then use the stairs to reach the film set. Give the script to the director. A screwdriver lies behind the scene—use it to disable the blade rotation speed limiter. Position yourself at the control panel. When requested, activate the fan and wait for filming to end. Once Rangan stands alone on set, increase the speed. He’ll be blown down. Nobody survives a fall from that height.

Broad Strokes

This opportunity eliminates Dawood Rangan and unlocks secret story missions. You’ll need a lockpick.

Locate the Kashmirian’s position, sneak to his rifle, and adjust the scope magnification. Now infiltrate Rangan’s tower. Climb the fence and carefully ascend the stairs. At the building’s left corner, turn on the water and wait. When a guard appears, subdue him, take his clothing and keycard, and hide the body in the container. Calmly climb two floors higher and unlock the painting room. Once the artist moves behind the easel, knock him out and change clothes. Be careful—the guard on the couch might see through your disguise. Ascend to Rangan’s reception area, then return with him to the easel room. Paint until the Kashmirian finally fires. Hide the body in the closet.

An alternative approach: don’t change into the artist’s clothing. Instead, plant a paint tube found one floor below in the staff dining area. If you choose this route, Rangan’s body will be discovered after the kill, but it won’t affect your rating.

Our Man in Mumbai (Secret Mission)

This mission unlocks if Vanya remains alive when the Kashmirian kills Rangan.

Visit the killer’s new apartment and look through his rifle scope again. A branching path appears. Killing or subduing the killer allows you to start another secret mission described below. If you want him to continue assisting, leave him alone and the “A Matter of Discipline” mission automatically activates. However, you won’t need to push Miss Shah down. A sniper’s bullet will end the queen’s life.

Homecoming (Secret Mission)

If the Maelstrom survives after completing “Our Man in Mumbai,” another secret opportunity opens.

Trail the Kashmirian. Exercise caution—he frequently turns around and can recognize Agent 47 in any disguise. When he stops at a door, attract his attention by cutting the electricity, knock him out, and hide the body. Change into the Kashmirian’s stylish suit and attend the meeting with the Maelstrom. He hides in one of the underground shelter rooms. When he turns his back, strangle him. A key lies in the adjacent room—take it and exit through the nearest door.

Contract: Dawood Rangan (Secret Mission)

If you neutralize the Kashmirian during your second meeting (after killing Rangan), take his computer key, and read the dossier on his laptop, a new secret mission unlocks.

Go to the pay phone and call Vanya. You’ll need a coin—if you lack one, borrow from local vendors or the tailor. After learning the meeting location, go there and wait. The Maelstrom will appear soon—once you identify him, the story mission completes.

Now eliminate both targets. We’ll describe the most spectacular method. Keep in mind you have limited time. First, infiltrate the train depot territory. Descend under the bridge and run right, climbing up the pile of crates. Knock out the nearest gangster and take his clothing. Run to the depot’s opposite end, then follow the tracks to the end and move to the nearest junkyard. Behind the yellow tractor near the wheelbarrow lies a lever you’ll need. Return to the railway tracks, find the switch point, and wait. Once you see the approaching train, insert the lever and redirect the train toward the abandoned depot. Both targets, along with dozens of bystanders, will be killed. Leave Mumbai on that same train.

Silent Assassin, Suit Only

You’ll need a lockpick. For this achievement, we’ll use the “Broad Strokes” story mission without disguise changes. Act quickly.

Immediately run to the Kashmirian’s sniper position and adjust his scope. Then run to the bridge where the actor with wings from “Free Bird” relieves himself. We need the bridge’s opposite end where a car battery lies near propane canisters. Take it and wait in the corner. Within minutes, someone will pass by—when he steps in the puddle, throw the battery onto it. Don’t miss—you must stage an accident, not knock him out with a headshot. This is the Maelstrom himself. Ensure no bystanders get hurt.

Now run to Rangan’s tower. Climb the fence, run up the stairs, wait for the woman to turn away, and ascend the steps on the right. From the stairs, turn right through the door marked “Canteen.” Grab the paint tube in the far corner, then head to the elevator shaft and climb one floor up. A window near the artist’s workshop door leads inside. Time your entry when the guard sits on the couch and the artist works on his painting, then plant your tube in his paint set. Within minutes, the Kashmirian will kill Rangan. Return down via the elevator shaft.

Vanya remains. You need the northeast depot entrance near where you switched tracks. Find the green container with a door. Pick the lock. Carefully run forward past the patrol to an identical container. Enter and jump through the window. Pass the soldier to the exit and you’ll emerge near a small pool. Wait for Miss Shah—when she washes her face, drown her. Hide the body in the bushes. Then run to the nearest exit.
