Following your briefing, head to the theater. Don Salieri’s plan is straightforward: eliminate Marco Morello publicly, in front of high society representatives gathered for the evening performance. Before departing, consider visiting Vincenzo to select suitable weapons—you’re facing an extended chase and several intense shootouts ahead.

As you approach the theater, a cutscene triggers: the assassination attempt fails due to an unexpected truck, allowing Morello to escape. He flees in his vehicle while corrupt police officers clear his path. An extended pursuit begins—your objective is to keep up. Eliminating Morello during this phase isn’t possible: he follows a predetermined route and maintains superior speed. You can shoot at police vehicles throughout the chase—ammunition is unlimited during this sequence.

Eventually, Morello reaches the airport. The action shifts to on-foot combat, structurally resembling events from the previous chapter. You enter battle alongside Sam, while Paulie remains with the car. Snipers pose the first and most significant threat—you must eliminate one from the water tower before clearing the area of remaining enemies.

Following the markers, you reach the hangar. After forcing open the back door, you find Morello already in the aircraft—attempting an airborne escape. The next pursuit phase begins: fire at the engines, damaging them before the plane gains altitude. Even with damaged motors, the aircraft continues flying over the city.

The chase now resumes by automobile. Track the thick smoke trail and head toward the Terranova Bridge—the quickest route passes through Chinatown. Soon the plane crashes, giving you limited time to reach the crash site before police arrival.

If you didn’t fall too far behind during the pursuit, you’ll have sufficient time. Upon reaching the crash site, you witness the final cutscene where Marco Morello’s fate is definitively sealed. This concludes the mission and the entire story of your conflict with Don Salieri’s primary adversary.
