After receiving instructions, speak with Frank and head to the warehouse where Paulie waits with a truck. Rain pours down outside, making the road slippery and prone to skidding—keep this in mind while driving. Paulie will take the wheel and drive you to the supposed deal location outside town.

Upon arrival, something feels wrong: Sam is nowhere to be found, and the area seems suspiciously deserted. You need to search. Move forward through the farm property and investigate the question marks highlighted on your mini-map—each provides new information. Your main landmark is a second truck at the far end of the location, easily spotted by its headlights cutting through the downpour.

A cutscene triggers at the truck: it’s an ambush orchestrated by Morello’s men with police involvement. From this point forward, the mission consists almost entirely of combat. Fight off attackers and continue checking marked locations. After one skirmish, you’ll discover the murdered driver’s body—be sure to grab the Tommy gun, as it outperforms the shotgun in open terrain.

As you advance, follow the markers. In the first building on the right, besides dead enemies, you’ll find Molotov cocktails. Clear the next warehouse and pass through the room on the right, then eliminate hostiles in the courtyard. Eventually, you’ll reach the barn where you’ll find wounded Sam on the upper level.

Defense phase requires strategic positioning—enemies attack primarily from the front, but some will flank from the right side.

Now you must hold your position and prevent enemies from reaching you until Paulie arrives. Primary attacks come from the front, though some enemies will attempt flanking from the right. Use cover and the Tommy gun—another automatic weapon lies near Sam, with an ammo crate slightly to the left. Save the red explosive barrel for a wave when multiple enemies cluster nearby. When a police car arrives, you can detonate it using the nearby barrel.

The retreat phase begins next. Sam gets loaded into the truck with Paulie driving while Tommy fires from the bed. Numerous police vehicles join the pursuit. Prioritize shooting the closest pursuers and aim for drivers when possible—disabling vehicles this way removes them from the chase faster. Crucially, don’t let police pull alongside the truck’s cab, or Paulie will face concentrated fire.

During one sequence, the truck gets stuck, forcing you to fight from a stationary position. Ammunition won’t run out, so systematically eliminate enemies while utilizing cover. After a cutscene, movement resumes, but soon a new threat emerges—an armored car with a mounted turret.

Fighting the armored vehicle requires destroying the machine gun turret as your primary objective. Fire continuously at it without waiting for full reloads—there’s no time to hesitate. Once the turret is disabled, switch focus to the armored car’s windshield. After shattering it, throw Molotov cocktails into the cab to ignite the crew inside. This triggers the final chase cutscene.
