The “Crossroads” chapter is one of the most intense in Detroit: Become Human. The storylines of three characters—Kara, Connor, and Marcus—intertwine here. Below is a detailed guide that will lead you to the “good” ending of the game. Every choice is critical, so follow the recommendations carefully.
Arrival in Jericho: Kara’s line
The chapter opens with a scene in a car. Kara is riding with Rose, Alice, and Luther. While the car is moving, you can look around, turn on the radio, and talk to Rose. After stopping, get out of the car and approach Rose—a short dialogue will take place.
Next, head to the Jericho ship. Its location can be easily determined by scanning (R2 button). On the way to the ship, a cutscene will start with a brief switch to Connor, after which control will return to Kara.
Continue moving toward the ship—the next cutscene will transport Kara inside Jericho. Once inside, follow Alice deeper into the location. The landmark is a burning trash can located in the back left of the room, near the television screen. Kara will sit Alice down on a nearby box, after which a scene involving Kara, Alice, and Luther will begin.
Investigation in Jericho: Connor’s Line
Control passes to Connor, who has infiltrated Jericho in search of Marcus. Upon entering the area, you will receive a warning: do not attract attention.
Kara is currently on the upper level, observing the crowd below. To remain unnoticed, adhere to the following tactics:
Don’t go in the direction Kara is looking.
Go around the center of the area on the far left side.
Keep an eye on Kara upstairs — when she turns away, move to the center and examine the explosives on the table.
After inspecting the explosives, head to the stairs near the television screen. Connor will be briefly stopped by another android, and then control will return to Kara.
Marcus’s search: Kara’s line
Now Care needs to bypass the upper level of Jericho. Further along the floor, in a small room, you will find Marcus sitting with his head down. A dialogue will ensue between the characters, at the end of which you will need to make a choice.
Choose: NO DIFFERENCE
After that, go back down to Alice. On the way, Kara will notice another android that looks like Alice. There will be a long cutscene featuring Kara, Alice, and Luther. When you regain control, approach Alice by the fire—she will sit down next to you.
Choose: HUG
Jericho Council: Marcus Line
The action shifts to Marcus and his group on the top floor of Jericho. The video shows a discussion about previous events, after which you will have to make a series of decisions:
The moment of choice
Recommended option
First choice
RIGHTEOUSNESS
Second choice
DIALOG
Conversation with North (after Josh and Simon leave)
THOUGHTFULNESS
Dirty bomb — what to do with the remote control
REFUSE
A moment of intimacy with North
KISS
The Confrontation Between Connor and Marcus
After North leaves, Connor appears. A conversation with Amanda begins, and then Connor threatens Marcus. In this scene, control quickly switches between the two characters—each choice affects the level of instability in Connor’s software.
Sequence of selections:
Marcus → MIND
Connor → INSTRUCTIONS
Marcus → CONVINCE
Marcus → APPEAL
Marcus → SOW DOUBT
Marcus → UNITE
Each of these responses increases the instability of Connor’s software. After Marcus’ final line, a critical moment arrives: Connor must choose whether to become a deviant or remain a machine.
Choose: BECOME A DEVIANT
A series of button prompts will appear on the screen—follow them all to make Connor break his program. Amanda’s trust level will drop sharply after that.
Escape from Jericho: Kara’s Line
The police arrive on the ship. Controlling Kara, run with Alice after Luther through the corridors of Jericho. Special forces are destroying androids everywhere, so stick closely to Luther’s route — deviating from it will lead to death. At a certain point, Luther is wounded.
You will be given a choice: help Luther or abandon him to protect Alice.
Choose: HELP LUTHER
Follow the on-screen prompts. After the cutscene, continue running with Alice.
Hide behind the first door you find in the hallway. You will hear cries for help from inside — open the door. The guard will try to break in and kill Kara. Defend yourself by following the on-screen prompts.
The Fall of Jericho: Marcus’ Line
Control passes to Marcus. He and Connor meet with Rose. In the dialogue, go through all the available response options—this will allow you to send a message to other androids and find out about the fate of Simon and Josh. Only then should you choose:
BLOW UP JERICHO
Start running toward the marker on the screen, dodging the crowd. After descending, Marcus will meet an android, and you will have to run again. Along the way, the bridge will collapse and Marcus will fall.
Kara’s Escape: How to Stay Alive
After switching to Karu, you will have to run away from the special forces. When Karu is knocked down, you will have a choice:
Choose: PLAY DEAD
Then another choice will follow:
Choose: DO NOT MOVE
⚠️ WARNING: Any other option in these two moments will lead to the death of Kara and Alice. Without them, it is impossible to get a good ending to the game.
Final battles: Marcus’ line
After the scene where Kara and Alice are rescued, control returns to Marcus. Follow the button prompts to fight the special forces, and then to activate the bombs on Jericho.
Continue running through the corridors, overcoming obstacles. Key points:
Situation
Recommended action
Group of androids under fire
INTERVENE, follow the prompts
Special forces with shields
CLIMB the wall on the left (do not engage in combat)
Second group of androids under attack
You can save them or walk past
Josh is attacked by special forces
INTERVENE, save Josh
North is wounded
SAVE NORTH, follow the clues
After North is rescued, Connor will appear and engage in combat with the special forces. Follow all button prompts to survive the attack. The final cutscene will conclude the chapter.
Alternative route: Connor deviant in the corridor
This scenario is only possible if Marcus died earlier in the game or was expelled from Jericho and decided not to return. In this case, Connor takes on Marcus’s role and searches for a detonator to destroy the ship.
The main events remain the same, but with some differences: Connor arrives too late to save Josh. The scene where North is wounded does not happen, and the surviving members of Jericho leave the ship earlier.
