Even after spending dozens of hours in Enterprise 3826, it’s easy to overlook useful mechanics that the developers have left for the most observant players. This guide compiles legitimate (and not-so-legitimate) ways to conserve resources, make combat easier, and explore the open world faster.

Resource Conservation and Combat Tactics

Infinite Healing (First Aid Kit Glitch) A great way to save capsules without using a cheat, especially on high difficulty or at the start of the DLC.

  • Level up the “Cell Division” skill, which gradually restores health after using a first aid kit.
  • Click the heal button to instantly use any glove skill (such as “Shock” or “Shield”).
  • The skill will interrupt the healing animation. The first-aid kit itself won’t be consumed, but the gradual recovery effect from “Cell Division” will still work! To perform this trick, you must have at least one capsule in your inventory.

A Free Makarov Pistol (PM) at the Start of the Game You don’t have to wait for blueprints or waste precious resources crafting your first pistol. Right after the cutscene with Petrov at the start of the game, explore the nearby storage rooms. A ready-to-use PM lies at the feet of a dead soldier sitting on a chair amid the debris. This is a powerful asset while you only have a shotgun.

Stealth and Energy Regeneration Stealth kills don’t work on everyone in the game, but they’re worth it. By sneaking up behind humanoid enemies (Wolves, Lab Technicians) and taking them out, you’ll not only save ammo but also fully restore your health and energy bar. Stealth does not work on mutants, bosses, or flying robots.

Reflecting Projectiles with a Shield Upgrade the Polymer Shield to the “Neuropolymer Reflector” branch. Now any “Vatrushka” rockets, flying circular saws, or syringes will ricochet back at your enemies. The shield will literally turn you into a walking turret, destroying robots with their own weapons.

Tactical Reload If you press the reload button while aiming, Major Nechaev will not remove his weapon from the line of fire and will continue to track the target with his crosshairs. This allows you to resume firing instantly without losing sight of the enemy (unlike hip-fire reloading).

Exploring the World and Parkour

Easy Way to Pass All QTEs There is no penalty in the game for pressing the wrong button during Quick Time Events. Only the Q, E, F, and Spacebar keys are used in these scenes. Just press them all at the same time when the icon appears. You’ll pass the test 100% of the time.

A Shortcut to Test Site 9 To avoid running through the village, swimming across the lake, and wasting time on pipes, find the small house near Test Site 9 with the Eleanor machine gun. There’s an open manhole cover nearby. Jump in—you’ll end up right in the boiler room, skipping a huge chunk of the journey (though you’ll have to fight a couple of cultists).

Shooting During Parkour While hanging from the yellow beams, you can shoot. Turn the camera all the way to the right or left—the character will release the corresponding hand. Now you can use your free hand to shoot a pistol or activate the glove’s abilities.

Blind Spot for Bees In the open world, repair Bees can drive you crazy by endlessly reviving robots. To break this cycle, run into any save booth or wooden village outhouse. Small enemies will chase you in, where you can easily finish them off, but Bees and large robots (Belyashi) won’t be able to squeeze inside.
