How to open the passage to Yotunheim

The long journey is coming to an end — ahead lies the road to Yotunheim, the final destination of your journey. While at Tamura’s Corpse, use the Mystic Gate to teleport to Brock’s shop in Tyr’s Temple. Once there, enter the Hall of Travel Between Worlds.

Set your course for Yotunheim, and use Mimir’s head to complete your journey to the realm of giants.

The Fingers of Giants

Leaving Mimir behind, climb the steps to the mountain range known as the Giant’s Fingers and head for the highest peak.

Atreus stands before carved stone statues in God of War

In the spacious hall, invite Atreus to examine the statues and carved images—this will help him learn more about the giants.

Check out the wall to the right of the entrance: there’s some runic writing called “Midgard’s Dream.“ As you go up, you’ll find another wall with some history: runic writing called “The Return of the Guard.“ On the way out, Atreus will explain the meaning of the new murals, which have some really interesting stuff in them.

After that, all that remains is to reach the summit and enjoy the final scene.

What to do after completing the main storyline

The main quest is complete, but the game world is still full of mysteries and adventures. Return to Midgard and check out the following activities:

Valkyries

Across Midgard and other worlds, 8 defiled Valkyries have been imprisoned. Their location—Odin’s Hidden Chambers—is now marked on the map if you haven’t found these places before.

Trials in Other Worlds

The two worlds available for exploration—Muspelheim and Niflheim—offer challenging trials with unique combat conditions. Complete them to earn powerful gear.

Side Quests (Requests)

Don’t forget about the unfinished tasks from the gnome brothers and the Restless Souls — some of them may still be waiting to be completed.

Hidden areas

Hidden throughout the Nine Shores are secret regions containing collectible items: Legendary Chests, Norn Chests, and Odin’s Ravens.

Secret ending

Be sure to complete the “Way Home” quest—to do so, return to your home in the Wild Lands and unlock an additional secret ending.
