Shards of the Abyss and Stat Boosts

Shards of the Abyss—mysterious artifacts scattered throughout the world—play a key role in character development. There are several ways to obtain them:

Completing main and side quests;
Defeating powerful bosses;
Exploring Paivel’s secret caches and delving into the Abyss itself.

These artifacts are necessary for increasing basic stats (such as health and stamina), as well as for unlocking new combo skills and upgrading existing ones.
