In the main story mission “The Blood Coronation,” Kliff is tasked with investigating Duke Caliburn’s old offices to uncover Myurdin’s current location. This quest requires a unique application of the Visione (memory helmet). Unlike previous investigations, simply watching the memory isn’t enough—you must become part of it.

1. Accessing the Office Memory

Follow the quest waypoints until you reach the upper floor of the Duke’s offices. Your lantern will begin to pulse with light.

  • Step 1: Hold LB / L1 to raise your lantern and “learn” the memory fragment.
  • Step 2: Once learned, hold the Start / Menu button to activate the Visione and play the “Blood Coronation” fragment.

2. The Investigation Twist: Tail the NPCs

A conversation will play out between two individuals in the office. Most players assume the mission ends when they leave the room—this is a mistake.

  1. Do Not Remove the Helmet: Once the conversation ends and the two men exit the room, follow them.
  2. Enter the Audience Chamber: They will lead you into the main hall filled with memories of mingling nobles.
  3. Interact with the Crowd: Move through the chamber and interact with the various groups of nobles. This “social investigation” is required to trigger the next cinematic.

⚠️ If You Fail: If you accidentally remove the helmet or lose the trail, you must restart from the beginning. Open your Radial Menu (Left on the D-Pad), select the Visione, and re-select the Blood Coronation fragment to try again.

3. Boss Fight: Gabriel Caliburn

Immediately following the memory cutscene, you will face Gabriel Caliburn. This is a fast-paced duel that rewards precision over aggression.
