After the explosion at the workshop, head to the top of the hill and speak with the dwarf, Grimnir, to begin the repairs.

1. Activating the Ancient Generator

The generator is a tower of rotating rings with glyphs. Your goal is to align the Potion Bottle symbols on every layer.

  • Layer 1 (Top): This is already aligned. Do not move the levers yet.
  • Layer 2: Turn the Pressure Gauge Switch one click to the right to move down a layer. Walk into the Right Crank and push it left until the potion symbol lines up with the top one.
  • Layer 3 (Bottom): Turn the Pressure Gauge Switch two more clicks to the right. Push the Right Crank to the right to align the final potion symbol.

2. Repairing the Three Kilns

The Disconnected Kiln (Electrical Repair)

  1. Equip your Torch and look for the sparking electrical cable.
  2. Approach the broken pipe and hold X (Xbox) / Square (PS) to reconnect the wires.
  3. Push the Crank to the left of the pipe all the way to the left to ignite the kiln.

The Dismantled Kiln (Assembly)

This requires precise use of Axiom Force and Force Palm:

  1. Bottom Piece: Grab the small broken piece with a hole in it using Axiom Force. Place it on top of the main body (the game will help it “snap” into a floating position).
  2. The Lock: Jump above it and press R3 to perform a downward Force Palm, slamming the pieces together.
  3. Top Piece: Find the small flat-topped piece. Repeat the process: align it with Axiom Force, then use an aerial Force Palm to lock it.
  4. Ignite: Push the kiln’s crank to the left.

The Fueled Kiln (Finding the 5 Fuel Balls)

Zoom in on your minimap to see five circular icons. You must carry these back using Axiom Force:

  • Balls 1 & 2: Right next to the kiln.
  • Ball 3: On the ground in the nearby marsh.
  • Ball 4 (Hidden): This is acting as an eye for a bird statue nearby—yank it out with Axiom Force.
  • Ball 5: Located at the entrance of a small cave just South of the kiln.
  • Action: Insert all five into the receptacles and push the crank left.

3. Obtaining and Using the Kuku Pot

After the kilns are fired up, speak to Grimnir.

  1. The Wait: When prompted to “wait for the right time,” hold the Menu/Start button to pass time instantly.
  2. The Extraction: Go to the small crank on the edge of the stone circle and push it clockwise toward Grimnir. The ground will hiss, and the Kuku Pot will eject.
  3. The Tutorial: Speak to Togrum to learn how to use it.

How to use the Kuku Pot: Grab any object with Axiom Force, then press Y (Xbox) / Triangle (PS) to “pocket” it. The object is stored in the pot’s infinite-weight inventory. This is essential for moving heavy quest items or clearing blocked paths.
