The pursuit of the Crowcaller leads you to the Abyss in the sky. This mission features a complex environmental puzzle involving power cables and lasers, culminating in a grueling three-phase boss fight.

Phase 1: Reaching the Upper Platform

Before you start climbing, activate the Fast Travel point on the ground level. The Skybridge is high up, and one wrong move will send you back to the start if you haven’t saved your spot.

Climbing Techniques:

  • The Structure: Walk along the right edge of the crescent and climb the scaffolds.
  • The Rings: Hop onto the rotating rings and ride them upward before gliding to the platform.
  • Force Palm: Use consecutive jumping Force Palms to gain verticality and glide into position.

Phase 2: Powering the Gear (The Cable Puzzle)

Your objective is to power the large gear to the East. It is connected to three dormant power cables.

Cable #1: The Right Path

  1. Follow the single cable to the right along the walkway.
  2. Repair the break: Interact with the connecting pipe where the cable is split.
  3. The Laser: Follow the cable to the square machine. Look across the gap for a laser orb. Glide over to it.
  4. Axiom Force: Stand behind the orb, grab its center with Axiom Force, and use the D-pad to align the laser beam with the gem across the gap.

Cable #2: The Left Upper Path

  1. Return to the gear and follow the cable leading upward on the left side.
  2. Glide to the corresponding laser sphere and repeat the Axiom Force alignment process.

Cable #3: The Left Lower Path

  1. Follow the final cable along the lower walkway.
  2. Locate the split in the line and interact with the pipe to repair it.

The Trigger: Once all three cables are glowing, climb onto the center of the gear and strike it with a Force Palm to fully activate it and claim your Abyss Artifact.

Phase 3: The Path to the Crowcaller

Go through the triangle forcefield on the right. A switch will emerge from the ground.

  • Use Axiom Force to manipulate the switch with the D-pad until you find the “sweet spot” to spawn the platforms.
  • Navigate the platforms and use your cape over the wind generators to reach the final arena.

Boss Strategy: How to Defeat the Crowcaller

The Crowcaller is a fast, three-phase boss. Here is how to maintain the upper hand:

  • Bring Real Food: Don’t rely on raw ingredients. Bring full cooked meals (visit a butcher or grocer beforehand) to keep your Health and Spirit high.
  • The Leg Sweep: Crowcaller is highly susceptible to being tripped. Roll Dodge and follow up with an Unarmed Melee Attack (Y/Triangle) to perform a sweep. Use this to land a high-damage ground stab.
  • Animation Canceling: End your combos with stabs (R1 + Y/Triangle) to trigger bleed damage and cancel long recovery animations.
  • Abyss Cores: Slot your gear with high-tier cores at the Witchwoods. The Queen Spider’s Venom Stab is excellent for adding passive damage to your combos.
  • Counter & Block: When he glows blue and crosses his swords, he is about to dive-bomb you—do not attack, just focus on moving. Use perfectly timed blocks to create counter-attack windows.
