The Path of Serpents is a high-altitude Abyss challenge located near the coast. Reaching it requires repairing a piece of ancient technology, while solving it requires a keen eye for electrical circuits.

1. How to Reach the Path of Serpents

Your journey begins at Bowspirit Cape, located Southeast of the Hernand landmass and just South of the Bay of Abundance.

  • The Flight Block: On the North side of the cliff, you will see a crashed ancient block with floating components (a CPU and a broken fuse).
  • The Repair:
    1. Use three jumping Force Palms to gain enough height to reach the floating CPU.
    2. Use Axiom Force to grab the CPU and shove it through the hole in the block.
    3. Repeat this process for the broken fuse.
  • The Launch: Hop into the hole yourself. Slot the CPU into its socket and hit it with a Force Palm. Do the same for the three fuses. The block will now begin its ascent into the sky.

⚠️ Survival Tip: The block will flip and rotate during the flight. Stay centered so you don’t fall out of the access holes. Mid-flight, the CPU will slide out—quickly drag it back and Force Palm it again to finish the climb.

2. Solving the Path of Serpents Floor Puzzle

Once you arrive and activate the Fast Travel point, you’ll encounter a large floor puzzle. Your goal is to route power through the floor wires to reach the pillars on both the Left and Right sides simultaneously.

  • The Mechanic: Stand on the floor tiles to rotate or shift the “current.”
  • The Solution: You need to create a continuous line from the power source that branches off to hit both peripheral pillars.
  • Visual Check: Once the wires glow brightly and reach the pillars, the path forward will unlock.

3. Claiming the Abyss Artifact

After solving the floor puzzle, proceed past the lasers to the large cog.

  1. Climb onto the Cog and hit it with a Force Palm to activate the lift.
  2. Ascend to the top to claim your Abyss Artifact.

4. Secret Loot & Exit

Don’t leave immediately after getting the artifact!

  • Head East through the Triangle Force Gate.
  • Use Axiom Force on the device and find the “sweet spot” using the D-pad to create a bridge.
  • Cross the bridge and head down toward the tree to find a hidden chest containing Bismuth Ore—a rare material for high-level crafting.
