Where to find the location (Map coordinates)

The cave you’re looking for is located in a picturesque but dangerous area:

  • Landmark: South of Unicorn Cliff.
  • Nearest points: Northeast of Shia village and east of Herden’s Highlands.
  • Entry point: Look for a small lake. From the lake, climb up to the edge of the cliff—there you will see the entrance to the cave.

How to navigate the traps in the cave

Inside the cave, you’ll find natural protection in the form of red mushrooms.

  1. Danger: These mushrooms release spores that put your character to sleep when you approach them.
  2. Solution: Don’t get too close. Use a melee attack or, safer yet, a bow and arrows to destroy them from a distance.
  3. Collection: Once the path is clear, go to the very end of the cave—that’s where the Mystical Pine Mushroom grows.

Possible challenges: Quest with children

If two children knocked you out when you entered the cave, that means access is temporarily blocked.

  • What to do: You need to complete a side quest.
  • Quest objective: You need to obtain an ancient relic located on the head of a giant ant (Ant). Once you complete this quest, the children will stop interfering with you.

Issue: Players encounter a bug: when they find a mystical pine mushroom (for example, for the quest “A Young Monk’s Request”), a pop-up window appears stating “Failed to save game data.“ After that, the mushroom disappears, and the quest itself vanishes completely from the journal.

Solution (Force Location Reset): You won’t have to restart the game or search for old saves. To fix the bug, you need to reload the game world state:

  1. Leave the cave and make your way to your nearest outpost.
  2. Use the bed and get some sleep.
  3. Sleeping will automatically reset all quest triggers and item spawn points.
  4. After waking up, return to the cave—the mystical mushroom and the quest itself will be back in place.
