In Resident Evil 9: Requiem, thoroughly exploring locations is key to survival. If you want to collect all the valuable loot while playing as Grace, you can’t afford to miss any lockpicks or locked lockers.

While exploring the Rhodes Hill Care Center, Grace can find exactly 5 lockpicks and 5 locks that they fit.

Why is this necessary?

Inside every locked chest or locker is a piece of Rare Metal. This resource is critical for crafting ammunition for the “Requiem”—Grace’s most powerful weapon, which will save you in desperate situations. Additionally, as soon as you pick your first lock, you’ll earn the “Like Mother, Like Daughter” trophy/achievement.

Where to Find All the Lockpicks for Grace in RE9 Requiem

There are five lockpicks hidden in the game: three are in the main building of the medical center, and two more are in its basement.

Lead Researcher’s Office

Where to look: The first lock pick is sitting right there on one of the dressers in the office lobby.

Custodian’s Office

Where to look: Open the Level 1 security door next to the Kitchen. Inside the office, check the locker—the lockpick is there.

Office

Where to look: There is a stairwell across from the Caretaker’s Office. Go up the stairs to the Office and take the third lockpick from the desk.

Boiler Room

Where to look: After going down to the Basement and getting your first Joint Plug, check out the Boiler Room. You’ll need to go there anyway to get the square socket wrench. The fourth lockpick is waiting for you there.

Where to Find All Locked Chests and Lockers in RE9 Requiem

As with the lock picks, three locks are located on the main floors of Rhodes Hill, and the last two are in the basement.

The hallway behind the restroom (West Wing)

Where to look: Go through the restroom in the West Wing. The first locked box is in the hallway next to the kitchen—near the spot where the zombie is wandering by the light switch.

Outside the Chairman’s Office

Where to look: The second locked chest is located right next to the office where you first find Moon Quartz in the story.

East Wing Lobby

Where to look: The locked box is easy to spot in the corner of the East Wing lobby.

Bedroom (Bunkroom)

Where to find it: When you reach the Care Center Basement, check out the Bedroom—it’s an optional area. Clear the room of zombies and open the locked locker in the corner.

Where to look: This room in the Basement is located right behind the forklift (where suspended body bags and live zombies are wandering around). After passing through the door with the plug and the forklift, turn left. You’ll see a couple of lockers—one of them is locked and requires your latest lockpick.
